The well rounded approach to training the full athlete:

All athletes and people wanting to get fit or prepare for events in their sport - respond to training in two ways, Physically and Mentally.

Methods in all training rely on repetition in movement to stimulate progressive results or physical "shock" treatment, I.E. changing the challenges of the routines to create stimulation in training and results. Both methods are great and are part of valid "good" training but the portion often lost in this, even by the best of us - is the "mental" side of competition. Dealing with adversity and how to respond to that adversity.

IMF sets itself apart in our progressive training sessions from our 1 on 1 sessions, to the group training, even in our camp programs by building the mental side of the young athlete or adult at any level of their abilities. Our camps are perfect for team building at all levels from athletes to even corporate events.

IMF understands that building the mental side of competition and training, no matter the level of fitness or dedication one has, is proven to produce an individual who will continue to stay in a healthy fitness lifestyle at some level as they get older and apply many of their methods of mentally dealing with adversity, etc.. to real life situations in helping them cope with real life items.

As the first stage in the IMF process of training athletes. This level is designed for the young athlete and can be utilized as a basic introduction to verious activities.

Emphasis is placed on repetition. Our first two level sessions are technique focused and age friendly, the older the athlete, the more advanced the training. We teach technique through a variety of games that are challenging. The focus is on real movements and strucure that apply to competition.

This program is designed to prepare athletes for the opportunity to sign up for next level camp program.

Skill Athletes:

  • The athlete - Inherently Fast, Quick, Powerful but needs to refine all these abilities.
  • The thinker - Posesses the athleticism and motor skills in training but needs to learn to perform at a high level under pressure.
  • The tactician - Uses the game to "predict", "anticipate" and be in position first but needs to bolster the physical part of their development.

  • The complete athlete - Has it all but needs greater challenges to achieve peak performance.
